I actually thought that what Harry could teach Hermione wasn't so much the spells, as
an "attitiude" - ie, a creative way of looking at the use of the spells that they, as
partially trained students, can safely use.
I don't have my books with me here at the office, but one of the other members asks
Harry why he's wasting their time with a really basic spell (the disarming one - can't
remember the name, sorry) and Harry responds that he used it on Voldemort and that
it saved his life.
*That's* the kind of thing that Harry can teach. The DA will give (and in fact, DID
give) the members confidence in the spells that *they* can do, and a more flexible
ability to apply them - so that they don't freeze up in a combat situation and die
thinking "If only I knew a spell that I could use!!' They know the spells - they just
need the reassurance.
This is my first post, so I hope I did okay.
