Nowhere. This was speculated by many astute readers after the 
publication of the schoolbooks, for Crookshanks so closely matched 
the description of the Kneazle. Soon after, an interviewer who had 
done his homework asked JKR about this, and she said (depending on 
how you interpret her response) that Crookshanks was either "part" 
or "half" Kneazle.

Sorry, don't recall when it was, but it's doubtless in Quick Quotes 
off the Leaky Cauldron and you can search for it, if you want the 
exact wording.
