ME: This is interesting. There does seem to be some "title" issues
floating about in the books. Another title that is frequently
mentioned is that Snape is "Professor Snape" (Dumbledore correcting
Harry on this constantly). This is probably just to prompt Harry to
treat Snape with more respect (due his position) and to reduce
Harry's feeling that Snape is the enemy (by showing that Dumbledore
is not disrespecting Snape). But there does seem to be a consistant
theme in the books that how you refer to someone conveys not only who
they are but how you feel about them. Nice post,
