My thoughts on this has been to point that Harry gets with Lavender. 
I know we haven't much of a worthy side yet, but there is still two 
more books to go. 

I think the flower names are interesting and may be a huge clue. The 
last name wouldn't fit at all. I think that they had a brother, who 
had Mark. Or, their father is not dead, and remarries and has another 
son, who has a son that is Mark, Making Mark Harry's half-cousin. Or 
even the more distant idea of Lily's dad, having a brother, who has a 
son, who has a son, that is Mark, (I think that would be Harry's 
second cousin, or something like that).

**If any had any web design talent at all, I would post the Evans 
family tree with the different possibilities**
