Just to clarify. By saying Rowling's books are traps for moralistic 
interpretation, and that she doesn't concern herself with morals or 
the moralistic in the slightest, I am praising her. I have no 
problems with DISHWASHERS or the like. It is the Rocky Horror Picture 
Show WWF school of interpretation that I reject. Or rather, I 
attribute such criticisms as, say, Byatt has made against the books, 
to that kind of so-called fandom, which is, in one sense, a rejection 
of a good portion of the books themselves. To state it plainly, 
regarding certain banal forms of fandom, Byatt is 100% correct.
