The problem with mirror references is we have a lot, so it's hard to know 
where an idea for a mirror comes from. I made a list of 25 or so magical 
mirrors for a game a couple of years ago, and the coupled for 
comunication/traveling were included. I borrowed the idea from 'Witches 
Abroad' by Terry Pratchett.

Other references... Alice through the mirror (easy one), Labyrinth, 
Poltergeist 3, Mordant's Need by Stephen Donaldson, and I don't know Neil 
Gaiman if he hasn't included mirrors in his work.
