It doesn't seem connected, but all the words do mean
something different depending on context. I would
wonder if she would use something along the lines of
'know' for 'no' or possibly 'connect'.

I would then read it, with my mind filling in the
extras, as something along the lines of 'the summer
the words saw it's last he did wake with no scar', or
something silly like that.
