Hi, I'm new to the list! My name is Rebecca and I am
studying history at college. I am mad keen into the
Harry Potter world.

Just to pick up on the point about Dumbledore and
Fawkes possibly disapparating from Hogwarts when Fudge
tried to arrest him. Nope he didn't, after Dumbledore
stunned all the ministry people he fled down the
stairs, that's why he bothered stunning them, as well
as letting Harry know he was ok. When the ministry
people come to, they shout to look down the stair
case. I'd say Dumbledore didn't apparate, but I think
he knows other ways of getting away, especially in
somewhere as full of secret passages as Hogwarts.
Just a thought.

Rebecca
