You could be right. There are several places in OoP were Ginny is said to 
act like a cat. I don't know the exact places, but I know they're there. As 
far as the advanced magic that is involved in transforming, I would say 
Ginny is a little young, but then again, look at all that Harry's done! If 
Harry can produce a Patronus (which is supposed to be very advanced magic) 
and escape the Dark Lord 4 times, then surely Ginny could become an 
animagus.
