Interesting. Yes, I had been thinking that maybe it was Wormtail, in his
rat form, and that he was ejected from the pub not because he was
listening, but because he was a rat. That would explain why the thrower-out
made no effort to stop him leaving or to Obliviate him. It still doesn't
explain how Dumbledore knew exactly how much of the prophecy had been
overheard, but perhaps that information came later, when Snape or someone
else came back from the Dark Side and gave Dumbledore the information.
