  Or it could be another example of Snape playing Dumbledore's game.  Dumbledore has realised that he cannot show Harry any kind of friendlyness or favouritism, because of the link between HP and LV.  Snape has already risked his cover as Dumbledore's spy over protecting Harry.  If Snape then starts acting particularly unfairly to Harry while he is being observed by the children of known DE's, and Harry feels he cannot rely on AD to sort things out for him, nor does AD intervene, then there is a good chance this will all get back to LV eventually, hopefully persuading him that Harry is no longer well favoured/protected, and 'loyal DE' Snape is both bucking against AD and openly tormenting Potter.

  Another thought - if it is all display on Snape's part, then the verbally delivered zero score doesn't mean that is the result recorded on Harry's record.
