Magic Quill

I've noted that several people have speculated if we will see items from the
other three founders like Godric Gryffindor's sword.  I don't' know if this
has been discussed before or note, but could the magic quill that writes the
children's names down when their born be Rowena Ravenclaw's old quill?
Since her house is linked with unusually intelligence, this could make sense
that she'd be the one to leave something to identify future magical
children.

This is my first real post, so please be gentle if the idea is really crazy.
Instead of sending Bludgers my way, just send a house elf to quietly lead me
off to St. Mungo's and I'll go back to lurking!
