Well in the first task all the champions knew what was coming before
the start. While Crouch pointed out he was an excellent flyer I
think Harry would have reached that conclussion on his own.

In the second task again everyone knew what was required. Harry
tried very hard to find a spell or potion to do the task. The book
that he needed was not in the library because of Crouch's misguided
effort to "help"

Now in the third task he did have help from Crouch, but as we have
seen Harry could have handled all the challenges himself.

I beleive that his guilt comes from insisting that Cedric join him
in the victory, and by doing that caused his death.

Well planning depends on how you approach solving problems. Harry
has always been able to reach a solution without a lot of planning
ahead. Sometimes it was just luck, but then some people can indeed
count on luck to help them.

Now Hermonie would indeed plan ahead, while Ron would be even worse
than Harry. In fact Harry approaches problems in the exact same way
that I do!
