Well, here are my thoughts for what they are worth.   One as has been 
pointed out that Harry would have had to been conceived sometime close to 
Halloween.  Second, Halloween is a very significant day in Harry's life.  It 
is the day that his parents died and he survived LV's AK curse.  PS/SS 
Keeper of the Keys.  Just thought I would through that out there.
