Hello everyone -

Apologies if my typing is not perfect, I'm getting rather twitchy for
some reason. The date June 21 just won't leave me alone. Can't think
why. :)

Anyway, I just had a (totally OotP-unrelated) thought - why is it
that the Weasleys are the only wizarding family we've met (so far) to
have both male and female children?

Off the top of my head, I can't think of another family with both
sons and daughters. We've got the Bagmans, Dumbledores and Creeveys
with sons only, and the Evans', Patils and Delacours with daughters
only. Even in the two schoolbooks (and this is from memory only)
there is not even a side mention of a girls brother or boys sister.
There's the all-female Quidditch team (started by all sisters, if
memory serves) and the letter from one sister to another. Why? Shower
me with your intellect, people!

Or, am I totally wrong? There are, of course, Neville's Auntie and
Uncle that he talked about - from his manner of speech I always
assumed were married to each other. And Gladys and Davy Gudgeon, but
AFAIK there has not been any indication of their relationship. Is
there another totally obvious answer that I'm just missing?

I'm most puzzled. But at least it's something to take my mind off
next Saturday.

Vix
