This is a wizarding hospital. Wizards don't use electric lights - or
anything else electric.

Maybe it's dark because that's how Harry's feeling at the moment?
And it's not like wizarding remedies are always pleasant - growing
new bones hurts for one thing...

Or it just happen's to be midnight and Harry just turned 15. (All the
more reason for visitors in the morning...)

If the mediwitches want to cheer the patients up, they'll cast a few
cheering charms on them.

These rooms/corridors have magical qualities, I suppose - one that
allows the patient go back in time to face his traumas or whatever...

It's old thing, really. A long thread having to do with "a magical
place where Harry hasn't been yet that is mentioned in book 4" coming
from it - no, it doesn't mean there needs to be only ONE place.

Then another thread came up from "I took effort to put all clues into
the Chamber of Secrets" to list what clues there were - not only for
OOP but the whole series - like Polyjuice Potion being there already,
used later by Barty Crouch Jr.

I don't recall the sources, though.
I simply added these old clues to the new ones - combining them all.

But several here and there clues, why reveal any more than this one
place when you can come up with so much with this one place?
