answer - Viewing the Map.

You're right of course, I had forgotten that Harry and Hermione had
already gone back at that point-I really ought to check cannon before
I post. Thinking about the time travel paradox does give me a
headache anyway, and I somewhat doubt JKR is going to explain her
theory on it as it leads to circular arguments. Though it would be
interesting to know if time travelers show up twice on the map. The
twins, Harry,and Lupin all had acces to the map during the time frame
that Hermione had the time turner. Additionally either nobody thought
to look for Sirius Black with the map, or they did not do so when
SIrius Black was on the campus. I do hope we get answers to at least
some of our questions about how the map works.
