Also, Pope Cornelius is remembered for being tolerant of 
the 'lapsed'. That is, Christians who were not firm in their faith or 
left Christianity completely and who were considered by the devoutly 
catholic to be non-pure Christians. Rings a bell doesn't it. So far 
Harry has certainly seen the tolerant side of the wizarding world 
with great wizards such as Dumbledore given free reign to employ 
werewolves and half giants and the Ministry of Magic having laws to 
protect muggles and even vampires. It was the tolerance of Pope 
Cornelius which earned him his exile, to be replaced by the far less 
tolerant Lucius.
