You seem very sure of that. But then, so am I, being the pessimist that
I am. 

I just can't help wonder what in blazes Sirius will be doing until
then. He should be pretty useless to both Harry and the anti-Voldemort
resistance if he has to remain hidden. The Death Eaters are likely to
know about his Animagus form now (Peter knows, Voldemort must know too,
and why would they keep it a secret?). If Rita did witness Sirius'
transformation in the hospital wing, how long until she decides to open
her big mouth to the whole wizarding community? 

So what Rowling will do with him until book 7? Send him southward on
Buckbeak's back again and keep him there until she has a plot to either
free him or kill him? Or will he reveal to be ever-so-evil and get a
new tattoo on his arm? -_-

Good grief, you somehow managed to list some of my Biggest Hope-NOT!
for OotP in one single paragraph. I can't stand the thought of Harry's
happy reunion with his long-lost godmother. I can't stand the thought
of a young and lovely Mrs Figg -- Harry never liked her, did he?
Wouldn't a lovely godmother try to be lovely in the few chances she had
to be with her godson? And why do so many people seem to have a problem
with Mrs Figg being as old as she looks?

And gosh, I do hope the HP series does not end with Harry being adopted
by his happily re-paired godmother and godfather. I know there are fans
praying for just that, but for me it would be sugar overload. As a
matter of fact, I do hope JKR keeps the romance ingredient at
digestible proportions in the books to come.

Oh my... I repeat, I do hope I'll still like Sirius at the end of
OotP...
