Which means that if some of the Azkaban DEs know that Voldie is back,
the Dementors probably know, too. The strong emotions produced by an
interned Death Eater realising V. was back would surely attract the
Dementors, who might be able to see the Mark through ragged clothes,
and reckon that one DE screaming 'the Dark Lord is returned' might be
lunacy, 300 is unlikely to be coincidence. Adn they might start to
think about which side they wanted to be on.

If the Mark has been growing more visible for some time, might Fudge?s
Dementor know about it, and hence kiss Barty to stop him talking,
without Fudge's knowledge?
Total speculation, but how do Dementors communicate with each other?
We?ve never heard them speak. If they were telepathic, then Fudge's DE
could know V. had returned even without having been recently in
Azkaban.
