Well, I guess maybe I'm just splitting hairs, but while Harry isn't a
Pureblood, he is a FULL blood.

As the son of a witch and a wazard, Harry is a full blooded magic
person, but he is not a Pureblood. I think the intended use of
Pureblood is to imply that you have many many many generations of
wizards and witches in your ancestral lineage without a trace of
Muggles in the family tree.

Ron says that many witches and wizards are intermarried with muggles,
and implies if they hadn't done that, the world of magical persons
might have died out. So while a wizard may come from 5 generations of
witches and wizards which would make him a full blooded wizard, the
6th previous generation of a magical and muggle intermarriage prevents
him from being a pureblood.

So, in regard to pureblood, Harry's maternal grandparents are muggles,
and that means Harry has muggle blood in him.

This is still confusing, because while I claim Harry is full blooded,
I just established that he is not. The distinction that has to be made
is between a person and his heritage. Harry is a full blooded magical
person (son of a witch and wizard), but has muggle heritage. Seamus is
a half blooded magical person (now more confusion) who is all magical;
that is, he is fully capable magical person.

So, if Seamus marries a full blooded witch, will his children be
quarter blooded fully magical persons with extremely mix heritage?

This heritage/blood think is almost as confusing as time travel.

Just a thought.
