O.K. I know that there are a lot of incurable romatics out there, just yearning for
various pairings to happen and for the great crescendo of of swirling strings to
produce a best selling love theme for film 6. Ugh.

Let us not forget, folks, these are 15 year olds that you are talking about. The last
great piece of literature that included romance for a 15 y.o. was Romeo and Juliet,
and look how that turned out. Ginny would be the right age for Juliet, too.

My reading of the classics gives me the impression that heroes tend to end up with
the girl who stayed at home, not one of the group that share in the perils of a great
and dangerous adventure. That select band become life friends and their eventual
partners are as jealous as hell about them.

I concede that there might be hints of something more permament in book 7, but in
the meantime please let them do a little growing up. To add to my apprehension I
have not seen any mention of sex education classes on the Hogwarts curriculum. The
teens ( if I can remember that far back ) are a time of passionate whims, mad about
them one week, "Who?" the next.

Now if you really want an interesting pairing, how about Flitwick and Madam Maxime.
Before you scoff remember the description of Hagrids parents.

Kneasy, the wet blanket
