Me (Izaskun):
The Lovegoods aren't mentioned in any of the other books or again in GoF, if I can trust the "find" tool of my acrobat reader. But, I found something interesting. The other neighbours mentioned are the Fawcetts, and there's a Fawcett mentioned a couple of times, both in GoF and CoS, here are the passages:

"Careful there, Miss Fawcett .... Pinch it hard, it'll stop bleeding in a second..." That's in the duel club chapter. CoS pg. 192 American Edition.

and in GoF...

"No, the Lovegoods have been there for a week already and the Fawcetts couldn't get tickets," said Mr. Diggory.' Chapter 6.

"I did warn you," said a deep, amused voice, and everyone turned to see Professor Dumbledore coming out of the Great Hall. He surveyed Fred and George, his eyes twinkling. "I suggest you both go up to Madam Pomfrey. She is already tending to Miss Fawcett, of Ravenclaw, and Mr. Summers, of Hufflepuff, both of whom decided to age themselves up a little too. Though I must say, neither of their beards is anything like as fine as yours." Chapter 16

"Ten points from Ravenclaw, Fawcett!" Snape snarled as a girl ran past him. "And ten points from Hufflepuff too, Stebbins!" as a boy went rushing after her. "And what are you two doing?" he added, catching sight of Harry and Ron on the path ahead. Karkaroff, Harry saw, looked slightly discomposed to see them standing there. His hand went nervously to his goatee, and he began winding it around his finger.' Chapter 23. The Yule Ball

So apparently the Fawcetts have a daughter, a Ravenclaw. Her age is not clear, but we do know she's not in the 7th year (during GoF, that's it) as she wasn't of age to try the triwizard championship. Do you think she or anyone from her family will have a major role in OOP????

Cheers, Izaskun
