Well, it's not chilling, but it makes me so sad. When Harry storms 
past him (going up to the tower room) in GOF (Ch19 The Hungarian 
Horntail), it reads  "...Ron just stood there in his too-small 
pajamas..."  For some reason, this breaks my heart.  I *know* the 
Weasley's are poor, but this one line brings it home for me.  
Something about him just standing there in pj's that are too small 
(earlier Harry sees several inches of his ankles below his pj pants), 
gets to me in a way that none of the other descriptions of their lack 
of money do, and makes me sad for Ron.  :(
