I must agree...they are Christmas colors. However, I have yet to see 
someone point out something very significant (I believe) that was 
mentioned in book one. What did Dumbledore say he saw in the mirrior 
of erised? Socks. I believe this is crutial somehow. In re-reading 
the GoF myself this past week, I could not help but notice the 
countless reference to socks. This helps to support the theory that 
Harry and Dumbledore are really the same person -> b/c of Harry's 
growing relationship with Dobby, could it be that Dobby will 
sacrifice himself for harry in the future? And Dumbledore remembers 
it as past? Who knows.....
