Sorry if this is more old news but just more more stuff that's been sticking
in my head....

Found the discussion re whether Rowling is putting a Christian spin on the
story interesting, but noticed no one seemed to remember (or did I miss that
post) that the hospital's name is "St. Mungo's".

Did Hagrid's mum really leave voluntarily or was she driven off? After all,
Hagrid tells about how his father was heartbroken when she left, and we know
that Giants were hated, mistrusted, and driven out after the last V war.

How in the world do dementors talk? We never hear anything from them in the
canon except when Fudge claims to have communicated with them.

If the Pensieve becomes DD's way of helping Harry after his death, won't the
Dark Side want to get a hold of it, too?

"Imposter" reference in GoF...first made when Harry was trying to work out
the Sphinx's clues to the riddle in the 3rd task....(Am. GoF HC pg. 630), then
again when Dumbledore says it regarding Moody's real identity. (Am. GoF HC
pg. 682). I suppose we are lead to believe that the first time the word is used
(sphinx) we are to later assume it was foreshadowing on Moody's real identity,
but what if it isn't wrt Moody? Who else is really an Imposter? (maybe this
is where Bagman comes in?)

There __must__ be some significance to the Deathday Party that's going to
come back in another book. I can't believe it was just thrown in there for
amusement. After all, isn't there an a JKR interview out there somewhere where she
said we'd learn about ghosts and unhappiness? Which leaves me wondering
about the comment by Mrs. Diggory about whether Cedric died happy....
But it also leaves me wondering about the omission of the DDP in TMTMNBN
since supposedly all important and relevant information from the canon was
retained in anticipation of future installments on the series...?

I think this was brought up already on the thread about Ginny/Harry ship --I
coulda swore that somewhere in the canon, though I can't find it at the
moment, it mentions Ginny having green eyes.

Lastly, if Hermione DOES become an animagus, would it perhaps be an animal
that eats beetles? ;)
