Okay, guys,
Please don't rip off my head for this one.
I only got into the adventures of our wonderful young wizard when the
first movie came out and am still in the early stages of
reading 'Goblet of Fire.' Over the years I have seen news stories
about release parties at book stores but haven't been to one.
My son is 17 and enjoys the movies but has no interest in the books
so 'Dad' would be flying solo on this one.
My 'incredible naiive question' is, Is it worth it for an adult to go
to alone? I'm thinking of going more for the vibe of the event and
maybe talking face-to-face with some fellow fans, maybe
pickup 'Quiditch Through The Ages' and the other short book.
Some honest non life-threatening feedback would be appreciated.
-Shawn
