Hi Shawn. I know what you mean... at first I thought I would feel
pretty ridiculous waiting outside of Barnes&Noble standing in line
with a bunch of little people half my age dressed up as little Harrys
& Hermiones. BUT, I really think JKR's adult fan base is growing so
much, that you will not be the only fully grown wizard waiting
eagerly to get your copy.

Plus, the two auxiliary books, the Quiddich one and the Magical
Beasts one, are great fun to read (not to mention helpful when JKR
introduces something new into canon - then you've got reference
material!) Not to mention, all proceeds for those two books go to
children's charities. More than worth picking up for any
potterhead! I would say go - but maybe leave the Gryffindor scarf
and plush Hedwig toy at home if you're afraid of seeming too
childish! (just kidding, of course...) I myself will be waiting in
line, but not staying for any parties. The minute I get that book in
my hands, I'm off to get started on it!
