Absolutely!  I am going with some friends who are NOT fans, who have never 
even READ a HP book or even watched the movies.  Yes, there are some people 
out there still like that, can you believe it?  The "unwashed heathen", we 
call them. :)  They are going strictly to keep me company.  They think I'm a 
bit off for going crazy over this whole thing, but as good friends they are 
there for me.

If you can't find a friend who is HP obsessed, find a friend who will go 
just for fun!  If you don't have one available, then go anyway, just to see 
what it's like!  You might make some friends.  (Oh, now I sound like I'm 
talking to my six-year-old.  Sorry!)

My only caveat--if you are still reading GoF, you might not want to be 
subjected to major spoilers from OOP...
