Well, first I fail to see how the actor's death could possibly effect Dumbledore.  Considering there are still two movies WITH Dumbledore to be made and he had to be recast anyway.  

Second, in the USA Today interview something is mentioned that strongly implies Dumbledore isn't dead at the end of Book 5.  Unless the death is very late in the book, of course.
