I'm kind of half-and-half on this one. I'm surprised that he used it because it's,
well, such an evil thing to do. On the other hand, I'm not surprised because it
was for Neville and Sirius, as well as to satiate his own anger.

I already posted on this, but I think he was a bad, bad, bad choice. I really do
love Hagrid, but I kind of feel like he hasn't got much more to add. His part in
this book was actually kind of pointless. Sirius had just begun to be a strong
central character, and showed emotional depth, I thought that was a bit mean
to tell us how interesting he was, then kill him, and so abruptly, too!

I thought this was great. I think she hit the nail on the head with stupid
politicians and useless bureaucracies.

This is a toughie. I don't honestly see why he couldn't go back to being
Gamekeeper, and just have Prof G-P be CoMC, she honestly is better

Someone already said something about power, and I think that's totally it. He
always was given positions of power, but, if you noticed, there was never an
overwhelming amount of RESPECT for Percy. Now, I think he's on a mission
to get it any way he can, ESPECIALLY because JK didn't put anything in
about him being repentant or anything like that... possible DE in the making?

> 7. Are we supposed to dislike James Potter now?
No, I think this was just to humanize him, though I must admit that I really
dislike him right now after reading it. I actually think it was more of a move to
humanize Snape, since he'd been so cruel. Not like it was a great shock, btu
it really does cement the reason why Snape turned out that way.
