--------------I thought he just completely forgot about it. He 
clearly wouldn't have needed to take the risks with a safe Floo fire 
if he'd remembered. It's one of the particularly bitter things--if 
he'd used the mirror, things would have been different.

I thought it was a shame he broke it, though. He could have asked 
someone to give him the other one from Sirius' effects and it would 
have come in handy!
