Thought I would throw this idea out there since I haven't seen it 
brought up yet.  

Is Dudley a squib? 
In the begining Dudley is obviously affected by the Dementors but in 
describing it to Petunia and Vernon he never says if he saw them or 
not.  Later at Harry's hearing when Figg is testifying Fudge 
asks "Can squibs see Dementors?" and she responds "Of course"  So 
based on this I'm thinking Dudley is a squib. The only thing I'm 
thinking that could prove this false is if Muggles can in fact be 
affected by Dementors but not see them, but you would think that 
feeling them and being able to see them would go hand in hand.  Why 
would you be able to feel them and not see them...that doens't seem 
to add up.  Also Petunia obviously knows more about the wizarding 
world than she has ever let on, so maybe this is something she's been 
hiding from everyone. 

Me:
For one thing, how could Dudley possibly be a Squib unless Petunia and Vernon are? Also, it was said in one of the books that Muggles could feel Dementors' presence, but not see them... I'll have to go find it. Maybe it was in OotP, even, it seems fresh in my mind.
