I totaly agree. Sirius *could* have added a huge extra dimension to
the book, but all he really got was cameos. His death seems to put an
end to any small victories the Trio and the Order could gain in the
following years. What's the point of catching Peter if Sirius is
dead? What, personaly, does Harry have to look forward too? What does
Lupin have to look forward too? Two years of war and life as an
outcast.... That's what irks me the most about Sirius' death. The
lonely ones are even more alone, but the ones with 'happy' families
are unscathed and don't have to learn the lessons Harry has.
God, I miss Sirius.

The Veil: otherwise know as the Veil Between the Worlds, the thing
that separates life from death. Traditionaly, it can be crossed on
Holloween.
