What Questions have been Answered and Raised?

Yeah, yeah, haven't read OoP, don't read this.....

I'm hard pressed to keep up with everything, but I do have to wonder, 
what questions about the wizarding world, and previous mysteries have 
been answered in OoP?  Were they answered satisfactorily?  I know I 
don't think the reason Voldemort attacked the Potters was a great 
one.  I was hoping for something a bit more intrict and interesting 
that a prophecy.  Though I was VERY happy to see Neville named in it 
as well, and I hope he fits more and more into the stories.  So what 
else is there that has been answered that everyone was wondering?  
And what wasn't answered, or what questions are new?
