Sorry! Can't snip, puter probs! But I felt SOOO sorry for Snape! I know in fanfic we have always felt he had a bad childhood, but this confirms it. I was a picked-on kid in junior high , and I can understand exactly how he feels. I'm rather dark to this day because of it. But with Sirius gone, and Remus so unavailable, and Snape knowing that Harry knows, and Harry feeling sorry for Snape, I wonder what will come of the Snape/Harry dynamic? Hmmmm.....Mentor figure?

I would like to point out that we only got to see PART of one memory.
Snape removed at least THREE memories before working with Harry (p533,
U.S. edition). So... since we see everything through Harry's eyes and
Harry did not get to see all of the memories Snape chucked into his
pensive, I think there are far worse ones still lurking about Snape's
mind. He is a spy and a Death Eater, after all.

And he's in serious need of a big hug and a mug of hot coacoa. No,
really.
