That is an extremely interesting point!!!! I have been thinking along those same lines. I wonder about Petunia more than ever now. She almost seemed ..Well.. not resigned to it , but almost like she knew what was going on. Hmm.....Squib ? Ex student?

Did anyone else place significance on the fact that Dumbledore 
addresses Petunia as "Petunia" and NOT as "Mrs. Dursley"?  Dumbledore 
frequently corrects his students when they refer to Snape rather than 
Prof. Snape.  It occurred to me that Dumbledore would not refer to a 
relative stranger by using her first name.  But Dumbledore does refer 
to former students by their first names (Molly, Arthur, Sirius, etc.). 
I could be reading WAY to much into this, but it could indicate that 
Petunia was a former student at Hogwarts.
