A couple of points.  I'm not certain that Dumbledore wasn't using 
Harry to spring a trap on Voldemort, forcing V to show himself.  I 
just don't think he planned on getting anyone killed.  I'm just 
equally uncertain that that's the whole of what's going on.  I don't 
think Dumbledore has flat out lied to us or Harry at any point.  I 
just think there's more that he isn't telling us.   I freely and 
readily admit that it's quite possible that I've got a bought of 
paranoia to make Moody at his very worst proud.  Either way, I 
certainly don't have a full formed theory, just muddled suspicions.
