Well, I definitely think HP is going to be spending a lot more time
with SS next book (maybe continuing with their lessons - anyone else
think that was an oddly-un-tied-up loose end?? What if V tries to
control Harry during the summer???), and that will be an opportunity
for us to all find out more about Snape.
On a related note, did anyone notice the similarity between Harry's
experience with Dudley and his gang at the beginning (sitting by
himself minding his own business on the swing, finding DD and his
gang simultaneously repellent and compelling) and Snape's memory
with James et al? I also noticed a similarity to Snape when HP was
walking with DD back home, picking on DD and being nasty to him just
to make himself feel better. Not that DD didn't deserve it, but
it's just interesting, or maybe inevitable, that Harry's taking that
road.
