Luna's a great character and while some probably consider her only
comedy relief, she stands out above the other Ravenclaws as she
stood by Harry. Despite her 'flakyness' she realized the
importance of Harry's DA club.

You may make jokes about Loony Luna, but apart from most of the
DA's she has seen death and I'm guessing she understood the
severity of standing beside Harry. She joined in the rescue mission
(something I hoped an older more prominent Ravenclaw had done) and
must have realized they were facing probable death.

I don't want to badmouth Cho too much, but she didn't show herself >
well in OOP. She liked Harry, but mostly wanted to talk about
herself or Cedric. Did she ever ask Harry to talk about himself?

She seems a little too self-absorbed and was quick to get jealous
of Hermione. Did she never even ask Harry about his friendship with
Ron and Hermione?

Did Cho even understand the importance of her choosing Marieta
over Harry? She was angry that Hermione jinxed the DA Members from
telling (jealousy again) but did she realize the severity of
Marieta's betrayal? She could have been expelled along with the
rest of The DA! Concerning Uxbridge and Fudge's paranoia they could
have ended up in Azkaban.

Agreed Harry is more dense than most 15 year old boys. The
argument of Him and Cho could have easily been avpoided if either
communicated better. Personally she was quick to choose someone
else and probably in the end is not a good match for Harry. She did
not stand beside him at the MoM nor was she among the DA members
that defended Harry on the Hogwart's Express.

I don't want to turn this into a SHIP, but I think Luna might be a
good match for Harry in the end. In the last chapter Harry noticed
that like him she also knew what it was like to face ridicule and
teasing.

Also Ginny has certainly grown up off page. She has not waited
pining for Harry, but has her first boyfriends in OOP (several we
know of). She trained secretly in Quidditch and is at least as
good a seeker as Cho, if not Harry. She has the respect of Ron,
Fred, and George concerning the BatBogey curse which was strong
enough to take out Malfoy.

UNEXPECTED TWISTS all around! All in All OOP was a great book and
not at all what I expected. My niece and I wrote down several
predictions for the book. We were both almost completely off and
couldn't be happier.
