Me: Even if Harry didn't see Lily die, he should still have seen the 
thestrals at the end of GoF after Cedric's death. People have 
mentioned that he didn't actually *see* Cedric die - he closed his 
eyes - but if thats the case, who died over the summer? IMHO its a 
Flint.

PS: It's a good thing JKR said that Lily and James are REALLY dead, 
or the thestral think would have sparked all sorts of Return of Lily 
debate.
