Do you think James, Lupin and Sirius were not quite the great boys we
thought we were? They teased Wormtail too because he wasn't as smart as
they. I just find it curious for JKR to suddenly have us see all these faults now.
Even though Harry is said to look so much like his dad, he actually is more
like his mom in temperament.

These kids are all teenagers and since I have one of my own around Harry's
age, I feel that JKR is portraying them accurately. As couples, they get
together and break up constantly, always experimenting. Not until they're
older can they really pick a partner.

I expected to have much more revealed in this book. I think the prophecy is
only a small part of the answer to everything. There has got to be more to it. I was drained by the end of the book, fearing each character's death at one point or another. Actually, when I found out it was Sirius it was kind of anti-climactic because I had always thought it would be him or Hagrid.

There's got to be more with Petunia and Lily. Does she know a lot more than
she is willing to tell her family?

In conclusion this was definitely the most suspenseful of the books. I will have to read it more times before I decide if it's my favorite.
