Now LHunneb:

Maybe DD sent a copy of the Prophesy to the Ministry as a safe-guard
against disaster. After all, the Order was busy fighting Voldemort
and, knowing that only the person mentioned in the prophesy could
completely destroy Voldie, they could all have been killed. If both
DD and Trelawney had been killed, Harry might never have been able to
learn of the prophesy without it being held at the Ministry.
