===Me:

I hadn't even thought of that. Ok, I'll admit I skimmed over the
last part because I thought it was repeating itself. Obviously I
missed something extremely useful.

Aren't

===Me:
My whole theory is tied to the blood. Bear with me:
-LP dies to save HP, making her blood his protection.
-DD reinforces the blood protection because of PD
-Harry needs to return to the home of PD once a year in order for
protection to hold.
-LV thinks he's on equal footing with HP because he took HP's blood.
-DD has gleam when he finds out.
-LV is now not going to have a problem with touching HP because he
thinks that he has the same protection spell. When in fact he does
not because he doesn't return to the Dursley home.
-This makes LV a big stupid arrogant git.
(Re-read the whole blood explanation in Ch. 37, US Edition)

Sirius Sam:

===Me:

They haven't really been living. Not as they want to. LV has been
somewhere between life & death. And HP has been having to look over
his shoulder & not only face school & exams, but a yearly fight
against Lord Thingy.

===Me:

Ahhh... This is my big question: Why go after the son of the Potters
and not the Longbottoms? I think that the Longbottoms had a much
better secret keeper and that's probably why they were attacked. My
theory, Neville was somewhere else & his parents were his secret
keepers. They were tortured because they wouldn't give up his
location. After what happened with HP and all they probably thought
he was the one.

Sirius Sam:

> any information useful to Voldemort. Ah well.

===Me:

I'd actually disagree on this. The fact that he doesn't know. The
fact that Harry does know is a big deal. Plus, he would kill HP in
an instant with no fear of DD which would be very bad for the WW.
It's better he is in the dark.
