I say:

Actually I wasn't at all. I think it was well hinted at throughout 
OoP that Neville was going to come into his own, especially where 
DADA was concerned. After all, he did exceptionally well at the 
lessons, so well in fact that near the end only Hermione was faster 
than he at picking up the spells.

Haha. I'd like to see a centaurs reaction to being 'studied' at a 
CoMC lesson. Somehow I don't think they would consider that very 
dignified...
