Dumbledore did a lot of things, and he was a teacher at Hogwarts 
before becoming Headmaster. I don't see where you come up with the 
idea that being a teacher at Hogwarts is a 'joe-job'? I think it's 
very respectable and probably NEVER boring! Some of the most 
interesting and powerful people are teachers at Hogwarts.
