I say:
I think all of that is irrevelant to 'newfound' fuzzies for Harry. I
mean, I don't believe Snape hates Harry ASMUCH as he pretends to, but
all of those things weren't done out of love for Harry...they were
done because they were necessary! Snape couldn't let Umbridge use
REAL Veratism on Harry....and let that woman find out important
things about the Order and Sirius? And as much as Snape might dislike
Sirius, he would not just sit back and let V. torture and kill him.
No, Snape would do his duty for the Order and his fellow members.
It's hard to remember sometimes, but Snape IS a good guy! He does
that stuff because it is RIGHT! :)
