Yes! I thought of this myself. Perhaps the evil elements are
vanquished in the room leaving just the elements of good. What
would be left of V? Baby Tom perhaps? Harry would have killed V.,
but not Tom. In chapter 35 when the death eater's head was changing
into that of a baby's, Hermione said to Harry "You can't hurt a
baby!" That sentence seemed to stick out. Foreshadowing?
