Or even during the Lord Thingy business.  

I saw several instances in the book where Ginny very shrewdly was 
able to figure out what Harry was feeling, and then to offer good 
advice.  She was very supportive of him throughout, but she was also 
able to stand up to Harry and call him out when he was being petty 
and churlish - and he listened to her.  Remember when she angrily 
said he should have talked to her about what it was like to be 
possessed by the Dark Lord?

After this book, I think Ginny would be an excellent match for 
Harry.  Too, her attractiveness to him will only be enhanced by the 
fact that she is no longer a clingy crush-girl, but instead 
independent and popular in her own right.
