My order is as follows:
1. CoS
2. OoP
3. PoA
4. GoF
5. SS/PS

CoS has the tightest mystery plot, IMHO. The Riddle memory angle kept
me guessing until the end. The humor in this one was exceptional.
Lockhart, although he annoyed me at first, grew funnier and funnier.
Loved the introduction of Fawkes. All the loose ends fall into place
in the end.

OoP may be a bit "plotless" and Harry's anger got a bit tiresome, but
I still like it because both Neville and Ginny rocked; I was relieved
that Hagrid didn't die (never was a Sirius fan, though warmed up to
him more in this one), got more insight into Snape, my favorite
character; and then an awesome battle scene at the end (however
improbable). Never got bored; couldn't put it down.

Both PoA and GoF were a bit sprawling in plot, but PoA had a
brilliant ending. The last 100 pages of GoF were very gripping, but
the Tri-Wizard tasks were a bit of a yawn and took up most of the
book. SS/PS is an exceptional read, but a tad predictable at times. I
love them all though!
